    1. On the day of the visit, go straight to the Reserved Entrance gate and show your voucher to the custodian. It's located on the right side of the main entrance to the Vatican Museums.

  • Once your booking request is confirmed, VELTRA will immediately email you a PDF file with the OFFICIAL & APPROVED entrance ticket. You must bring it with you on your smartphone or print a copy to gain entrance. The VELTRA voucher only will not allow you entry. Please contact VELTRA customer support team if you didn't receive the official voucher. Your ticket is valid only for selected date and time.

  • Due to the high demand, it's not possible to book an exact entry time to the Museums. You will be booked on the first available time slot within your preferred time range selected at the time of booking. Please avoid booking other tours that may overlap with the available departures on this day until you have received your confirmed time.
  • The Vatican Museums give the possibility to visit the site for free the last Sunday of each month. You can just go directly there from 9.00 - 12.30, the closing time of the museums will be at 14:00.
  • The itinerary and access to the sectors indicated in the schedule may be subject to variations or cancellations due to unexpected activities or events of the Holy See or Vatican City State.
  • Please see the 2020 schedule of the Sistine Chapel in the attached file. Please note that exit from the galleries begin 30 minutes before the closing time.
